The Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering & Technology (SDMCET) Dharwad was established in the year 1979. Initially the college started with only 3 under graduate programs. Today the college has 10 academic departments to its credit.
The college is totally managed by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) Educational Society, Ujire.
